Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. Your expertise in baking techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our bakery. Duties: - Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts - Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality - Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity - Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and fulfill customer orders - Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed Requirements: - Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in a restaurant or bakery setting - Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines - Proficient in cake decorating techniques - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required If you have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats, we would love to hear from you.
